Skilled Tradesperson with Carpentry Expertise

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Skilled Tradesperson with a carpentry background to join our maintenance team for a key client, covering a prominent store in Dublin City Centre. This permanent, full-time position requires flexibility as occasional early morning and evening shifts may be necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support to ensure smooth daily operations of the large store.
• Collaborate with the Facilities Manager to foster excellent client relationships through outstanding customer service.
• Assist the Facilities Manager in evaluating current services, processes, specifications, and quality control to optimize resource efficiency.
• Proactively identify building issues, applying immediate fixes or making areas safe and coordinating with appropriate contractors.
• Support the Contract Manager with regular site inspections to detect and report any deviations from quality standards.
• Adhere strictly to all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies within your scope.
• Ensure full compliance with client-specific policies and procedures.
• Respond promptly to client requests with a strong customer service focus.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably with carpentry expertise.
• Significant maintenance experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess a full clean driving licence to enable travel to various contract sites as required.
• Experience or exposure to Facilities Management, Engineering, or Construction sectors is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in a comparable role involving maintenance and client service.
