Site Selection Manager

About the Role

Join a rapidly growing leader in Cloud and AI infrastructure as a Site Selection Manager based in Singapore. This permanent position involves leading the identification and evaluation of potential data center locations to support global innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the assessment and selection process for data centers and colocation facilities, evaluating key aspects such as power supply, connectivity options, scalability, regulatory demands, and commercial feasibility.
• Perform comprehensive technical and commercial due diligence, including risk analysis, infrastructure evaluations, environmental impact reviews, and feasibility studies to guide investment choices.
• Maintain and develop relationships with colocation vendors, property owners, utility providers, and other external parties through managing RFPs, contract negotiations, service agreements, and capacity planning efforts.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including engineering, construction, finance, legal, and network to build robust business cases, support on-time project completion, and ensure adherence to local regulations and corporate policies.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Real Estate, Business, Construction Management, or closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience in selecting data center sites, managing colocation services, real estate development, or overseeing critical infrastructure projects.
• In-depth knowledge of data center architecture, power infrastructure, cooling systems, network connectivity, and redundancy requirements.
• Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, commercial negotiations, data-driven analysis, and managing multiple concurrent projects across various locations.
