Job description
Role overview
A civil engineering contractor with a growing portfolio is looking for Graduate, Junior, or Site Engineers to support the delivery of quality projects throughout Dublin. The organisation is known for dependable delivery, technical strength, and experience across civil infrastructure and construction work.
What you will do
- Carry out setting out duties on site.
- Monitor and coordinate building works.
- Complete site surveying tasks.
- Use Microsoft Office and AutoCAD confidently in day-to-day work.
- Review technical drawings and design information to make sure site work follows them accurately.
- Support the procurement team with related tasks.
- Assist the commercial team where needed.
- Prepare SHEQ documentation and forms.
- Maintain and update site records.
- Complete labour and plant return documentation.
- Handle general civil engineering tasks required on site.
Requirements
- You should be graduating soon or already hold a degree in Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of 1 year of recent experience on civil engineering projects in Ireland or the UK is required, or you may qualify through a college placement/internship.
- You must be familiar with setting-out equipment such as GPS, site engineer level, and total station.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills are essential.
Compensation and benefits
- The salary is approximately €45,000 to €55,000, depending on experience.
- Vehicle and fuel allowance is provided.
- Pension benefits are included.
