Role overview
A major power and energy contractor in Ireland is hiring qualified electricians to support its Smart Energy Services team in Cork. The role focuses on smart meter-related electrical work in domestic settings.
Key responsibilities
- Complete electrical upgrade work for residential electricity services.
- Prepare and carry out site tasks according to project plans and job packs.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with householders while explaining the work being completed.
Qualifications and skills
- Level 6 Craft Certificate in Electrical work, or Level 5 qualification.
- Completed electrician apprenticeship training.
- Valid Category B driving licence.
- Current SafePass certification.
Compensation and benefits
- Expected salary range is approximately €55,000 to €70,000, depending on experience.
- Overtime is compensated.
- Quarterly performance bonus available.
- Company vehicle and fuel card provided.
- Tools and personal protective equipment are supplied.
- 23 days of annual leave.
