About the Role
Culligan Ireland is seeking a full-time Service Technician based in Cork, specializing in the delivery, installation, maintenance, and servicing of water coolers and filtration systems at customer locations. This position is field-based and comes with a permanent contract subject to a six-month probation period.
This role emphasizes maintaining the highest hygiene and performance standards to ensure that customers receive superior service and clean, healthy water solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled sanitization and disinfection of water coolers and drinking water systems to uphold hygiene standards.
- Carry out preventative maintenance to guarantee that equipment stays safe, hygienic, and fully functional.
- Install, service, and repair water coolers and filtration devices as needed.
- Replace filters and other consumables as per service schedules to maintain optimum functionality.
- Identify and troubleshoot faults effectively to ensure timely resolutions.
- Maintain accurate digital records of services and sanitization via company systems.
- Manage vehicle stock and ensure proper upkeep of all tools and materials needed for daily operations.
- Deliver excellent customer service while representing Culligan professionally in all interactions.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene protocols throughout daily activities.
Requirements
- Possession of a full, valid driving license with no disqualifying offenses and no more than six penalty points.
- Prior experience in field service, maintenance, technical, hygiene, or sanitization roles is preferred; however, comprehensive training will be provided covering all products.
- A strong commitment to cleanliness and meticulous attention to detail is essential.
- Skill in diagnosing and resolving technical or mechanical problems effectively.
- Excellent communication skills paired with a strong customer service orientation.
- Capability to work independently while managing a busy schedule efficiently.
- Proven ability to perform in a target-driven environment, consistently meeting service and performance KPIs.
- Good geographical awareness of the local area and its surroundings.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Compensation
The salary for this position is €32,000 per year, paid monthly. Additionally, an annual tax-free meal allowance of €4,000 is provided.
