We are on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Workforce Management Strategy and Optimisation Specialist to be a vital part of our team, contributing to the future success and efficiency of our airline operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate within the Workforce Strategy and Optimisation Chapter to identify and assess opportunities for workforce productivity improvements.
- Operate within agile squads to swiftly implement changes while ensuring these align strategically and minimize disruption, supported by comprehensive risk management.
- Provide expert guidance and leadership on cutting-edge workforce management practices to enhance crew utilization, reduce operational expenses, and manage risks effectively.
- Perform detailed cost-benefit analyses to underpin workforce initiatives with solid business cases supporting operational adjustments or enhancements.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports and proposals to leadership and stakeholders, highlighting the effects of workforce strategies on performance and profitability.
- Develop and nurture strong partnerships internally and externally to influence key decisions and champion successful change initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated leadership experience in airline workforce management, particularly in driving transformational changes.
- Strong expertise in rostering, resource allocation, and training optimization within workforce management.
- Experience working with Air resource groups (Pilots, Cabin Crew) or Ground resource groups (Airports, Maintenance).
- High-level analytical skills, including proficiency in advanced data modeling and decision-support tools.
- Proven strategic thinker with a track record of balancing long-term objectives and short-term outcomes through successful initiatives.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, union agreements, and workforce optimization technologies, including pairing optimization software.
- Exceptional ability to collaborate and influence senior leadership across diverse teams and units to drive impactful organizational change.
