Role Overview
This position is for a Senior Strategy Project Manager based in Lusail, Qatar, working within a SuperApp business environment. The role is focused on steering strategic initiatives across departments, helping leadership turn company priorities into clear strategic stories, financial assessments, and decision-ready business cases. You will operate across several verticals and markets, tackling complex challenges and converting company-level strategy into vertical-level execution.
Strategic Project Leadership
- Guide cross-functional strategic initiatives across different business verticals and markets.
- Break down uncertain or unclear business issues into structured analytical approaches.
- Move projects from initial problem framing through to executive-level recommendations.
Narrative and Leadership Support
- Create organized, concise narratives for leadership and board-level conversations.
- Convert detailed analysis into sharp, practical recommendations.
- Assist the CEO and senior leadership team in making strategic decisions.
Financial Modeling and Business Cases
- Develop high-quality financial models to assess new verticals, market expansion, and pricing or monetization options.
- Evaluate return on investment, scalability, and the long-term effect of proposed initiatives.
Market and Strategic Analysis
- Perform in-depth market and competitor research.
- Spot opportunities related to user growth, marketplace performance, and new revenue streams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Commercial, Product, Finance, and Operations teams.
- Make sure strategic recommendations can realistically be executed.
Execution Oversight
- Help leadership convert strategy into practical execution plans.
- Monitor the progress of major initiatives.
- Ensure recommendations are measurable and action-oriented.
Experience and Profile
- You should bring 5 to 8 years of experience in strategy consulting, preferably with an MBB or Tier 2 firm, or in an in-house strategy role.
- Hands-on exposure to financial modeling, business case preparation, and strategic problem solving is essential.
- You need a strong track record of influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional work.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling ability is required.
- Experience in marketplace, SuperApp, or other technology-led environments is preferred.
- Regional or multi-market strategy exposure is an advantage.
- Strong commercial judgment and business acumen are important.
