Role overview
This position focuses on driving growth for Agrivita’s Farm Solutions range, with an early emphasis on biosecurity solutions. The role is based in Abu Dhabi and is designed for a motivated, early-career professional who can learn quickly, understand poultry operations, and build trusted relationships with farm owners, veterinarians, production leaders, and farm teams. Familiarity with large-animal environments is beneficial.
What you will do
- Promote Farm Solutions products, especially biosecurity offerings, across poultry farms, SPF sites, veterinary pharmacies, hatcheries, slaughterhouses, and related retail or outlet customers.
- Offer first-line technical advice on cleaning and disinfection programs, biosecurity practices, product selection, dilution, application techniques, and safe use according to approved labels and company direction.
- Identify and develop new farm opportunities, nurture strong customer relationships, and follow up consistently until prospects convert into orders.
- Carry out regular field visits, product demonstrations, farm walkthroughs, and post-visit follow-ups to reinforce correct product use and value creation.
- Build deep knowledge of the Farm Solutions portfolio, poultry production fundamentals, disease-risk drivers, and competing products.
- Support sales, volume, and margin goals through active pipeline control, reliable forecasting, order follow-up, and coordination with customer service and supply chain teams.
- Collect and share market feedback, competitor movements, pricing signals, product performance notes, and unmet customer needs through structured reporting.
- Work in coordination with sales, marketing, technical, QA/lab, customer service, and supply chain teams to resolve customer issues quickly and professionally.
- Assist with large-animal Farm Solutions opportunities when needed; prior exposure to ruminants or other large animals is an advantage.
- Contribute to product launches, customer trials, campaign rollouts, training sessions, and other special assignments assigned by leadership.
- Prepare timely and accurate visit notes, pipeline updates, customer feedback summaries, competitor intelligence, product observations, and monthly progress reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, Poultry Science, Agriculture, or a closely related field.
- Poultry-oriented technical education or training is preferred.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in poultry technical sales, animal health, farm biosecurity, farm management, or technical customer support.
- Early-career profile with strong learning ability and a willingness to spend substantial time in the field.
- Prior exposure to cleaning and disinfection products, hygiene and biosecurity solutions, or poultry farm operations is preferred.
- Large-animal or ruminant exposure is a plus.
- Solid understanding of poultry production, farm biosecurity, disease-prevention basics, and cleaning/disinfection processes.
- Ability to quickly understand product chemistry, dilution instructions, application methods, and safety requirements.
- Strong communication and people skills for engaging confidently with farm owners, veterinarians, managers, and workers.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to turn technical conversations into sales opportunities.
- Valid UAE driving license, or willingness to obtain one, is preferred.
