Senior Planner

Overview

The role involves creating and overseeing detailed construction scheduling and planning for Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC) projects, spanning from tender process to execution phases.

Key Duties

• Conduct site assessments to inform planning efforts.
• Organize labor and equipment allocation for projects.
• Develop construction strategies and methodologies.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to collect scheduling data and evaluate project constructability.
• Lead performance analyses using tools such as earned value management and critical path method.
• Prepare and maintain reporting instruments like Gantt charts to monitor schedule updates and track progress.
• Support multiple simultaneous projects to ensure execution within allocated timeframes and budgets.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, or related technical disciplines.
• Between 3 and 5 years of relevant experience in construction planning within the marine or offshore industries.
• Familiarity with design-build and construction management at risk project delivery approaches is advantageous.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software, particularly Primavera Project Planner version 6.0 or later.
• Comprehensive understanding of all construction phases, including work specific to diverse construction trades.
• Experience scheduling complex, large scale design and construction projects.
• Capability in developing and administering progress reporting systems for intricate design projects.
• Strong grasp of technically demanding and complex construction scheduling requirements.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 8:00am to 5:15pm
Friday: 8:00am to 4:30pm
