About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Tax Manager to become part of our expanding Tax team in Wellington. This leadership role involves providing trusted tax advisory and compliance services, helping clients navigate complex tax laws and delivering strategic insights that facilitate sound business decisions. You will foster collaboration within the team, share technical expertise, and support colleagues' ongoing professional development, all while promoting a culture focused on excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and guide the team to deliver outstanding client service.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities that contribute to growth.
- Engage in business development initiatives and deepen client relationships.
Candidate Profile
- A team player who motivates others to excel.
- Strong at uncovering and developing business opportunities.
- At least 8 years of significant experience in advising on New Zealand income tax, GST, and Inland Revenue regulations.
- Qualified CA, CPA, or equivalent credentials and/or legal qualifications.
