You will serve as a strategic partner to senior leaders, helping shape global policies, standards, and risk-management practices. The position blends enterprise-level strategy with practical execution, requiring someone who can design scalable programs while also staying closely involved in day-to-day EHS leadership. Close collaboration with facilities, logistics, data center operations, and ESG stakeholders will be essential to keep standards aligned across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Own and direct the global corporate EHS&S roadmap, including program design, governance, and ongoing improvement efforts.
- Guide, coach, and support regional EHS leaders while setting worldwide priorities and expectations.
- Maintain compliance with international, federal, state, and local EHS requirements, including inspections and regulatory reporting.
- Build and maintain systems for risk assessments, audits, and corrective actions to reduce workplace hazards.
- Create and roll out emergency response and crisis-management plans in coordination with the right internal partners.
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures to avoid repeat events.
- Develop and deliver EHS training that reinforces a strong safety-first mindset at every level of the business.
- Work with ESG and Facilities teams to advance sustainability efforts and lower environmental impact.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety, including 5 or more years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven ability to build, expand, and improve global EHS&S programs.
- Strong understanding of EHS laws, compliance requirements, and international safety standards.
- Hands-on experience with audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective-action processes.
- Ability to design training initiatives and influence culture change around safety and compliance.
- Strong people leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex regulations clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience is needed; CSP, CHMM, or REM certifications are considered an advantage.
- Sound ethics, strong analytical judgment, and a proactive approach to risk management.
