Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst with Workday expertise to act as a techno-functional partner to HR and IT. In this role, you will shape, deploy, and continuously improve Workday so it supports a high-growth workforce through automation, reliable data, and scalable processes.
You will help strengthen HR operations by ensuring system accuracy, efficient workflows, and clear visibility into workforce information through reporting, analytics, and integrations.
The Role
This position is accountable for the design, rollout, and continued development of Workday across Core HCM and connected modules. You will own the functional and technical execution of Workday programs, including configuration, integrations, reporting, and release governance.
You will be the main Workday contact for HR, IT, and Finance, converting business needs into practical system solutions while preserving data quality, compliance, and day-to-day continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of the Workday platform in line with organizational priorities.
- Administer Workday Core HCM, including setup of business processes, security roles, and calculated fields.
- Create advanced reporting outputs and support connections to centralized data warehouses.
- Use Workday People Analytics to surface insights that inform leadership decisions.
- Produce training materials, documentation, and change management support to encourage adoption.
- Oversee integration planning and track data movement between Workday and external tools such as Deel, Greenhouse, Britehire, and 15Five.
- Develop and maintain integrations using APIs, Workday Studio, and EIBs.
- Turn business requirements into scalable Workday configurations and reporting solutions.
- Manage Workday release cycles, including testing, feature review, and deployment with minimal operational impact.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of practical Workday administration experience in a mid-sized or fast-scaling organization.
- Prior exposure to a Workday implementation, either supporting or participating in the rollout.
- Strong command of Workday Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, and Time Tracking.
- Hands-on experience with Workday People Analytics and Prism Analytics, including complex dashboards and reporting.
- Experience moving Workday data through ETL tools such as Airbyte or Fivetran into warehouses like Snowflake or BigQuery.
- Solid SQL skills, plus familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
- Ability to build and support integrations using REST or SOAP APIs, Workday Studio, and EIB.
- Good understanding of Workday security design, including Integration System Users (ISUs).
- Experience working with identity and access management platforms such as Okta.
- Understanding of employee lifecycle processes, including Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation, Performance, and Payroll.
Compensation and Benefits
The target total compensation is between $135,700 and $170,200. This includes a fixed annual base salary of $118,000 to $148,000, an employee equity plan grant, bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Equity awards are offered in good faith and are subject to company policy, board approval, and individual eligibility.
