About The Role
As the Manager of Strategic Finance at MrBeast, you will be instrumental in scaling the company's financial reporting, analytics, and planning capabilities. This highly cross-functional role involves partnering with leaders across Finance, Operations, and Executive teams to translate strategic priorities into actionable financial plans. You will provide crucial insights into budget performance and headcount dynamics, build scenarios to evaluate investment paths, and analyze resource allocation to support strategic recommendations. This is an opportunity to build the financial foundation for a rapidly growing and exciting brand.
What you'll be doing
- Oversee and enhance the FP&A cycle, including annual planning, forecasting, monthly reviews, and long-range financial modeling.
- Collaborate with business leaders and finance teams to establish budgets and monitor performance against revenue and operating cost targets.
- Improve forecasting accuracy and transparency through robust models and efficient operational processes.
- Develop financial frameworks to align investment decisions with overarching strategic objectives.
- Generate executive-level reports and analyses to effectively communicate business performance.
- Build and scale dashboards, planning tools, and systems to facilitate real-time decision-making.
- Address and resolve cross-functional planning challenges, ensuring alignment between strategic goals and financial execution.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to assess new initiatives, business cases, and strategic shifts.
What we're looking for
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or related fields such as investment banking or consulting.
- Proven experience in managing forecasting and reporting for significant organizational departments.
- Exceptional modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to derive clear, actionable insights from complex data.
- A demonstrated history of successful cross-functional collaboration and influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with experience presenting to senior executives.
- Familiarity with modern financial planning tools and systems (e.g., Pigment, Adaptive, NetSuite).
- A strong capacity for navigating ambiguity and establishing structure within evolving processes.
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a comparable field.
Additional Information
The target total compensation for this role ranges from $160,000 to $195,000. This includes a fixed annual salary between $140,000 and $170,000, an annual bonus, an employee equity plan grant, and comprehensive benefits.
