Role overview

This opportunity is for a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst in the United States. The role is shared on behalf of a partner employer, which will handle all applications and follow-up steps.

You will take on a high-impact FP&A position within a fast-growing technology business, helping shape financial strategy and support better decision-making. The work centers on forecasting, budgeting, performance review, and translating detailed financial data into practical guidance for leadership.

The position also involves improving planning systems, strengthening financial operating cadence, and making processes more efficient through automation and modern, AI-supported tools. Your work will have direct visibility with senior stakeholders and will influence investment choices and broader business performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and support major FP&A workflows, including annual planning, forecasting cycles, and long-range financial models.
  • Review monthly results, identify the main business drivers, and turn performance trends into clear recommendations for leadership.
  • Work closely with Accounting to validate actuals, forecasts, and KPI alignment.
  • Create, refine, and maintain financial models that support strategic decisions and investment planning.
  • Upgrade dashboards and executive-facing reporting to improve visibility across the business.
  • Streamline manual reporting and planning tasks by using current tools and AI-enabled automation.
  • Partner with R&D, Operations, and G&A teams to evaluate financial impact and overall business performance.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or another analytical finance role.
  • Strong Excel capability and solid financial modeling skills, including experience building scalable forecasting frameworks.
  • Prior experience in SaaS or technology companies is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work with complex datasets and convert analysis into actionable business advice.
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and present effectively to senior leaders.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools or automation to improve financial processes and efficiency.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and comfort operating in ambiguous environments.
