Role Overview

The role focuses on managing the comprehensive procurement and negotiation lifecycle related to airfreight pricing. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the regional tender team and airline partners to strategize bids, engaging internal stakeholders to deliver competitive pricing solutions with quick turnaround times, and resolving commercial and operational issues with carriers.

Additional duties encompass maintaining and analyzing daily sales reports (DSR) and other performance metrics, tracking market freight trends, including fuel surcharges and competitor pricing, reviewing and renewing customer rate agreements, identifying cost-saving measures and margin enhancement prospects, and ensuring adherence to airline and international shipping regulations.

Candidate Profile

Applicants should possess at least two years of professional experience in freight forwarding and logistics operations. An MBA degree, ideally in Supply Chain or Logistics from an accredited institution, is required. Candidates must exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant transport management software tools.
