Senior Child Care Coordinator

About the Role

This position is responsible for leading and improving the delivery of child care initiatives, with a focus on quality, compliance, and ongoing enhancement across all operational functions. The role also supports program effectiveness, works closely with internal and external stakeholders, and helps increase impact in humanitarian and development settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the execution of child care programs and make sure activities follow the required policies and standards.
• Track program results and review reports to spot areas where performance can be strengthened.
• Liaise with field teams and partner organizations to help ensure smooth and effective delivery.
• Maintain accurate records and keep relevant systems properly updated.
• Offer technical support and direction to team members when needed.
• Draft analytical reports and share actionable recommendations with management.
• Support the design of new program improvements and process enhancement initiatives.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in child care, humanitarian work, or NGO programs.
• Strong ability to analyze information and prepare reports.
• Very good written and spoken communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Comfortable coordinating with multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
• Prior exposure to Qatar or the GCC region is an advantage.
• Demonstrated leadership and coordination capabilities.
• Background in humanitarian or non-profit environments.
• Practical problem-solving approach.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-moving, multicultural workplace.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, onsite role based in Doha, Qatar.
