Role overview
An established semiconductor business in Cork is looking for a Senior Analog Design Manager to take charge of the end-to-end creation of advanced mixed-signal and analog ASIC solutions. This position sits within a fast-moving Irish company and is based fully onsite in Cork, Ireland.
What you will do
- Guide and mentor a team of analog and mixed-signal design engineers while fostering technical creativity and strong execution.
- Set and manage the development direction for ASICs used in optoelectronic applications.
- Oversee the design and release of high-calibre ASICs so they satisfy demanding industrial and quality expectations.
- Promote new ideas in circuit design through modern methods, tools, and technologies.
- Carry both technical ownership and people management accountability for the team.
Required profile
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering, telecommunications engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience leading analog and mixed-signal ASIC development work.
- A proven track record of analog and mixed-signal ASICs that have reached production.
- Strong background in leading engineering teams in a high-performance setting.
- Programming knowledge in one or more of the following: C, C++, Verilog, Verilog-A, Verilog-AMS, Python, or Visual Basic.
- Fluency in English and valid work authorisation for Ireland are required.
