About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned SAP FICO Consultant with 7 to 10 years of professional expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling. This role demands thorough experience encompassing SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments including implementations, rollouts, support, and system enhancements. The candidate must possess strong functional insights into finance and controlling business processes covering modules like General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and CO-PA.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze business requirements to develop comprehensive functional specification documentation.
- Configure and maintain SAP FI modules such as GL, AP, AR, AA, and Bank Accounting.
- Set up and support SAP CO modules including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and CO-PA.
- Engage actively in complete life cycle SAP S/4HANA projects, encompassing implementations, rollouts, and ongoing support activities.
- Conduct system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, and resolve issues effectively.
- Support critical financial closing procedures both month-end and year-end.
- Collaborate closely with ABAP developers to create reports, enhancements, interfaces, BAdIs, and user exits.
- Liaise with business users and stakeholders throughout requirement gathering and solution design phases.
- Analyze and resolve production issues by providing level 2 and level 3 support.
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP FI/CO modules with MM, SD, and PP modules.
Mandatory Skills and Expertise
- Comprehensive knowledge of SAP FICO including SAP S/4HANA Finance.
- Expertise with General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting.
- Strong grasp over Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, CO-PA.
- Competency in financial closing operations.
- Experience in integration of SAP FI/CO with MM, SD, PP modules.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and Business Partner (BP) concepts.
- Knowledge of New Asset Accounting, Material Ledger, and Actual Costing methodologies.
- Experience with SAP Fiori and SAP CPI Integration.
- Data migration expertise utilizing LTMC.
- Exposure to SAP Solution Manager, JIRA, and ServiceNow tools.
Required Experience & Eligibility
- 7-10 years of relevant SAP FICO consulting experience.
- At least one complete SAP S/4HANA implementation experience.
- Experience across support, rollout, enhancement, or migration projects.
- Strong understanding of finance business processes and accounting principles.
