Role Overview
The Bluffton, Indiana facility is expanding, creating an opportunity to join the team behind Dot’s Pretzels. This role supports sanitation work across the plant, helping maintain a clean and safe manufacturing environment.
Pay and Rewards

Shift Schedule
- Night shift openings are available.
- The shift runs for 12 hours, from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.
- The schedule follows a 2-2-3 rotation with 3 to 4 workdays per week.
- One week runs Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday; the next week runs Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday.
Interview and Selection Process

Job Summary
The position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing shared plant spaces or processing rooms. Work includes sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, and removing trash as needed.
Key Duties
- Track supplies and replenish storage rooms when needed.
- Prepare cleaning chemicals in the correct proportions.
- Use cleaning and material-handling equipment such as hand jacks, manlifts, boom equipment, floor scrubbers, KaiVac units, and similar tools.
- Carry out scheduled deep-cleaning tasks required for third-party audits and directed by the Sanitation Manager.
- Follow and understand 5S practices.
- Record all cleaning work completed.
- Clean computer stations, control panels, extruder motors and gear boxes, exterior electrical cabinets, electrical lines, carts and containers, ladders, fan filters and vents, walls and floor mats, sink and wash pit areas, mixer platforms, die storage rooms, pump stations, and scales in the processing area.
Minimum Qualifications
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of hire.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- At least one month of related experience or training is needed.
- Applicants should be able to read and understand simple instructions.
- Basic math skills are required, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers and decimals.
Physical and Work Conditions
- The role requires good physical condition to complete assigned tasks.
- Employees must be able to stand, walk, use their hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with arms, and speak/hear.
- Frequent standing, walking, and lifting or moving up to 25 lbs are expected.
- The job may occasionally require lifting or moving up to 50 lbs, including passing an annual lift test.
- Safety gear may be required, including eye protection with side shields, hearing protection, and hair or beard nets.
- The work environment is a normal manufacturing setting.
