Role overview

We are seeking a results-focused Sales Executive based in Mumbai with a background in selling IT solutions and a proven ability to grow business. The role is suited to someone who can generate demand, manage client conversations, and consistently move opportunities toward closure.

Key responsibilities

  • Study the market to spot prospective customers and uncover fresh business opportunities.
  • Create new leads through cold outreach, networking, and in-person field visits.
  • Arrange and lead meetings with potential clients to understand their business needs.
  • Showcase company offerings and explain IT solutions in a clear and persuasive way.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy sales funnel while ensuring deals are closed on time.
  • Handle negotiations, address customer objections, and convert prospects into sales.
  • Work closely with internal teams to support smooth onboarding and delivery.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, exhibitions, and other industry events.
  • Record sales activity accurately, keep CRM data updated, and prepare performance reports.
  • Collect customer feedback and pass useful insights to the relevant internal teams.
  • Identify suitable channel or business partners and onboard them to broaden market coverage and increase sales.

Requirements

  • Prior exposure to clients from Banking, NBFCs, Hospitals, Manufacturing, or BPO environments.
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in IT solutions or B2B sales.
  • A strong history of generating leads and successfully closing deals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • The capability to build, manage, and progress a robust sales pipeline.
  • Comfort with MS Office; familiarity with CRM tools will be an advantage.
  • A self-driven, target-oriented mindset and willingness to work in field sales.
