Role Summary
This position focuses on bringing new single-outlet independent restaurants into the network and keeping them engaged within a designated city. You will act as the main contact for these partners, taking the time to understand how their business works, what challenges they face, and how you can support them in growing orders, visibility, and customer interaction. The job is highly consultative and field-based, so it calls for adaptability, initiative, and a strong interest in helping restaurant partners succeed. Over time, you will sharpen consultative selling capabilities, gain deep exposure to restaurant operations, and build a strong base for career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a clearly defined territory and build productive, long-term relationships with the assigned restaurant partners.
- Spend significant time in the field by visiting restaurants in person, demonstrating the product, reviewing return on investment, and explaining the mutual value of partnering.
- Use a consultative sales approach by asking about current sales channels, delivery operations, marketing investment, and business objectives, then presenting the platform as a solution rather than a list of features.
- Handle the complete monthly partner journey, including pitching, negotiation, activation, and continued post-onboarding support.
- Analyze adoption numbers, identify barriers to growth, troubleshoot issues, and make course corrections based on data.
- Be accountable for territory-level revenue goals and closely monitor pipeline movement and conversion performance.
- Work extensively with city and central trackers using advanced Excel, Google Sheets, and WSP skills.
- Keep track of restaurant trends, competitor activity, and local market changes, and share field insights that can help shape product decisions.
- Complete roughly 80 to 90 face-to-face meetings with restaurant partners every month.
Candidate Profile
- 0 to 2 years of experience in B2B sales, field sales, or business development, ideally in FMCG, food and beverage, or hospitality.
- A proven history of either achieving or surpassing targets while independently managing a sales pipeline.
- Ownership mindset suited to a business that operates around the clock, with responsibility for the growth of the assigned restaurant portfolio.
- Strong comfort with data and the ability to use Excel confidently, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and dashboard creation without assistance.
- Preferably a postgraduate candidate with a background in marketing or sales.
