Company Overview

Everlast Gyms is looking for a Sales Host to be the welcoming point of contact for members and visitors. This role combines front-of-house service with sales support, helping to grow memberships, improve retention, and create a positive experience for everyone entering the club. The position also includes key holder duties, club operations support, and contribution to a smooth member journey alongside the wider team.

Role Overview

As part of the club team, you will greet members and guests in a professional and friendly manner, assist with membership growth and retention, encourage purchases of in-club products and services, and help maintain high standards throughout the facility. You will also handle administration, support team initiatives on the gym floor, and respond appropriately to feedback and complaints.

Key Duties

  • Welcome every member and guest and ensure each interaction is courteous, positive, and professional.
  • Support sales of memberships and retention by delivering strong customer service and guidance.
  • Help increase secondary spend by promoting available products and services within the club.
  • Keep the gym environment clean and hygienic to a high standard.
  • Serve as a responsible key holder and open or close the club when required.
  • Carry out administrative tasks using the membership software system.
  • Stay up to date with fitness challenges, classes, and gym floor activities, and participate where needed to encourage engagement.
  • Assist the Fitness Manager and broader team with gym floor projects and initiatives.
  • Manage member feedback and complaints in a professional way and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Use the club’s products and services yourself so you can confidently recommend them to members.

You should be upbeat, approachable, and committed to creating excellent customer experiences. Confidence with administration and daily club systems is important, along with a sales-driven mindset focused on memberships and retention. The ideal candidate is flexible, comfortable with varied shifts and operational responsibilities, interested in fitness, and eager to learn and progress within the business.
