Job Summary
The Sales Director – B2B will own the company’s commercial growth agenda, with responsibility for increasing revenue, winning new business, broadening market reach, and forming strategic alliances with organizations in Saudi Arabia and abroad. This position directs the sales function, manages key enterprise accounts, and ensures sales goals are met through technology and consulting offerings that align with client requirements and the organization’s business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Set the direction for the B2B sales function and implement a sales plan that supports overall business goals.
- Define yearly sales targets, KPIs, and execution plans.
- Pinpoint priority industries, target markets, and areas for expansion.
- Study market movements, client demands, and competitor activity to uncover growth opportunities.
- Support revenue growth, improve profitability, and increase market share.
- Identify and win new customers in both public and private sectors.
- Grow business with existing accounts and uncover additional commercial opportunities.
- Lead negotiations, prepare proposals, and close high-value deals.
- Develop and sustain strategic partnerships with local and international organizations.
- Represent the business in meetings, conferences, exhibitions, and industry events in Saudi Arabia and overseas.
- Turn potential opportunities into long-term contracts and project engagements.
- Maintain durable relationships with strategic accounts and senior stakeholders.
- Build trust with C-level leaders and other key decision-makers.
- Ensure strong client satisfaction and identify avenues for account expansion.
- Oversee major accounts and manage commercial commitments.
- Lead, coach, and develop the sales team.
- Assign targets, track performance, and ensure a healthy sales pipeline.
- Run regular performance evaluations and provide guidance to improve selling effectiveness.
- Prepare sales forecasts, revenue plans, and executive-level performance reports.
- Monitor commercial results and profitability.
- Ensure adherence to company sales policies and processes.
- Work with technical and consulting teams to create tailored technical and commercial proposals.
- Partner with Marketing to generate qualified leads.
- Coordinate with Finance and Legal during negotiation and contract finalization.
- Share market intelligence and client feedback to help shape new services and solutions.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline is required.
- An MBA is preferred.
Experience
- At least 10 years of experience in B2B sales and business development.
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior sales leadership role.
- Hands-on background in IT, digital transformation, technology services, or technology consulting is mandatory.
- Demonstrated success in selling technology-based solutions and services to enterprise clients.
- Strong exposure to strategic account management, commercial negotiations, and contract handling.
- Proven ability to build and manage partnerships with organizations in Saudi Arabia and internationally.
- Consistent history of meeting and surpassing sales and revenue targets.
Requirements
- A solid professional network that includes at least 30 private-sector companies, covering local and international organizations operating inside and outside Saudi Arabia, is required.
- Ability to create strategic partnerships, win enterprise clients, and accelerate business growth across local and global markets.
- Strong understanding of the Saudi IT and digital transformation landscape, along with regional business opportunities.
- Capability to establish and manage relationships with senior executives and decision-makers.
- Excellent skills in negotiation, communication, and relationship building.
- Strong leadership ability with proven people-management experience.
- Fluency in Arabic and English, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
- Willingness to travel within Saudi Arabia and internationally as needed.
