Role Overview

This opportunity is for an agile, inventive, and team-oriented Sales Development Representative who wants to begin a career in sales or take the next step in a technology sales path. In this role, you will help create new business connections by reaching out to prospects who have shown interest and by identifying additional companies that may be a strong fit for Docusign.

This is an individual contributor position reporting to the Sales Development Manager, EMEA.

Responsibilities

  • Work toward and deliver on the Sales Qualified Opportunity quota.
  • Spend roughly 80% of your working time speaking with prospective businesses by phone, focusing on inbound leads that show genuine potential.
  • Explain Docusign’s products and value clearly while learning about customer needs and priorities.
  • Ask focused questions and build rapport to understand a client’s business direction and how Docusign can support their goals.
  • Record and pass along well-qualified leads in the CRM so Account Executives can continue the sales process, including arranging initial meetings.

Work Arrangement

This position follows a hybrid setup, meaning work is split between the office and remote locations. Access to an office is required, with an expectation of at least 2 days per week on site. The in-office schedule may differ by team, but a weekly office presence is expected.

Roles at Docusign may be designated as In Office, Hybrid, or Remote depending on the specific position. Preferred arrangements are not guaranteed when moving between roles, and the company may update the designation based on business needs and where allowed by local law.

Requirements

  • Fluency in both French and English.
  • Strong communication and people skills, with enthusiasm for engaging with new individuals and businesses.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform well in a fast-paced, demanding environment while taking ownership of results.
  • Proven success in an outbound sales or business development role.
  • Clear, professional verbal and written communication.
  • Strong planning and organizational ability.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
