About Deel IT

Deel IT is the company’s dedicated offering for managing the logistical, financial, and security aspects of providing IT equipment and services to distributed workforces. It supports the full lifecycle of devices, from purchasing and shipping to repairs, replacements, returns, secure storage, and data erasure. The platform also integrates with HR workflows so device delivery and access can be tied to onboarding and offboarding processes. In addition, it includes device security, mobile device management, endpoint protection, and 24/7 global IT support.

Deel IT is looking for its first Sales Development Representative in the APAC region to support sales efforts across Australia and New Zealand.

Role Overview

The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for opening new accounts, building relationships with multiple stakeholders across target segments, and contributing directly to revenue growth. The role involves prospecting, researching leads, qualifying opportunities by understanding onboarding and operational needs, and working closely with the broader sales organization.

Responsibilities

  • Create new opportunities through outbound outreach across email, phone, and social channels.
  • Research and identify potential customers and leads within target accounts.
  • Assess prospects by uncovering their business needs and pain points.
  • Arrange product demos for qualified leads with Account Executives.
  • Work alongside sales and marketing teams to strengthen lead generation efforts.
  • Consistently meet monthly and quarterly goals for qualified meetings and pipeline creation.
  • Keep CRM records current and accurate.
  • Take part in sales coaching and ongoing professional development.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in sales development or a similar inbound/outbound commercial role, ideally in SaaS or technology.
  • Must be based in Australia and have experience prospecting within the Australian market.
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, remote, and dynamic team environment.
  • Solid organization and time management abilities.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and eager to learn.
  • Able to work independently and figure out solutions without heavy support.
  • Demonstrated success in quota-carrying roles and exceeding targets.
  • Exposure to CRM platforms and sales engagement tools is an advantage.
  • Strong writing ability, including crafting email copy and sequence campaigns that perform well.
  • Adaptable, resilient, and comfortable in a high-growth environment.
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to improve workflows and communication across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in HR or fintech is preferred.
  • Background in a fast-growing startup is preferred.
  • Previous success in a remote, distributed team setting is preferred.
