For more than 34 years, HelmsBriscoe has used its expertise to deliver practical, high-value venue sourcing solutions.

Role Overview

This opening is for a full-time, remote, commission-only Manager, Global Sales. The position is centered on developing trusted client relationships, understanding event sourcing requirements, and recommending venue options that align with those needs. You will generate prospects, manage accounts, negotiate agreements with venue partners, and help ensure clients receive the best possible value for their events.

Key Accountabilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities and qualified leads.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the sourcing process.
  • Understand event objectives and translate them into suitable venue recommendations.
  • Negotiate terms and contracts with venue providers.
  • Work closely with the HelmsBriscoe team to uphold strong service and client satisfaction standards.
  • Source venues for clients both within New Zealand and internationally as needed.
  • Operate independently from any location in New Zealand, without territory restrictions.

Required Background

  • Proven ability in sales, business development, and client relationship management.
  • Experience or strong knowledge in event planning, strategic planning, and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Self-driven mindset with the discipline to work effectively in a remote environment.
  • Experience in hospitality, meetings, or the events sector is highly beneficial.

Important Notes

This role is commission only. Candidates must be able to work remotely from New Zealand. There are no fixed territories, and client locations may be domestic or international depending on business needs.
