Job description
Company Overview
Noel Leeming is one of New Zealand’s best-known retailers of electronics and home appliances, with a nationwide store network. As part of The Warehouse Group, you become connected not only to the Noel Leeming brand but also to a broader family of major brands, creating plenty of room to learn, grow, and build your career.
The stores carry a broad mix of products, and the team provides end-to-end support — from guidance and product recommendations through to delivery and installation. Customers count on this service to help them choose the right product for their needs.
Role Overview
As a Sales Consultant, your focus will be on helping customers find the right solution and ensuring they leave with a positive in-store experience. The products are important, but the customer experience and specialist advice are what set the business apart.
Working Hours
- Wednesday to Friday: 8:30am to 5:30pm
- Saturday: 8:30am to 4:00pm
Key Duties
- Promote and sell a broad range of technology products.
- Develop positive customer relationships and assist with questions or concerns.
- Keep the retail environment tidy, attractive, and easy to shop in.
- Work with colleagues to meet daily goals and maintain a strong team atmosphere.
What We’re Looking For
This opportunity suits someone who enjoys sales and is either already experienced in selling or keen to begin a sales career from a customer-facing role. You should be a collaborative team player with a proactive mindset, strong people skills, and a habit of putting the customer first. Because this is a technology and appliance retailer, enthusiasm for learning about new products, trends, and innovations is important. A competitive streak and a problem-solving approach will help you succeed in delivering standout customer service.
Benefits and Extras
- Team Card: access to a generous Warehouse Group discount card across all brands.
- Here for Good Leave: one paid day each year to volunteer and contribute to your community.
- Birthday Leave: one paid day off each year to celebrate your birthday.
- Counseling support: free, confidential advice and counselling through Benestar.
- Career development: a strong stepping stone toward future internal opportunities.
- Additional employee benefits may also be available.
