About the Role

Join the Google Cloud Sales Compensation team as a Sales Compensation Administration Manager responsible for designing compensation plans, processing bonuses, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payouts on multi-billion dollar revenue streams. This position involves managing large sales data sets, performing comprehensive audits to maintain financial integrity, and collaborating extensively with Sales, Finance, HR, Legal, and other key business units.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Administer quarterly sales bonus calculations and interact with sales leadership and teams to clarify compensation policies and resolve queries.
  • Conduct monthly audits and act as the escalation point for resolving issues related to payout discrepancies.
  • Handle intricate cases concerning attainment and payouts by thoroughly analyzing go-to-market strategies, compensation plans, and policies.
  • Provide plan enablement through diverse communication channels to ensure clear understanding of compensation plans across the organization.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Sales Operations, Finance (FP&A, Accounting, Operations), Business Intelligence, Technology, HR, and Legal to support accurate and compliant compensation processes.
  • Manage quarterly calculation and dissemination of compensation insights in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum six years of experience in sales compensation, encompassing administration, auditing, case management, and enablement.
  • At least four years utilizing attainment and compensation software tools effectively.
  • Skilled in data analysis and proficient in writing database queries, such as SQL, to generate reports.

  • Comfortable managing ambiguity, shifting priorities, and maintaining productivity in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.
  • Effective engagement and strong relationship management skills across all organizational levels and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical capability to convert data into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional problem-solving aptitude to investigate and resolve complicated attainment and payout cases.

Additional Information

Applicants can choose their preferred working location from Dublin, Ireland or Warsaw, Poland.

Compensation details include: In Ireland, a salary range of €118000 to €121000 plus 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits; in Poland, a salary of zł340000 to zł349000 plus 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits. Individual pay is influenced by skills, experience, education, and training.
