Opportunity Overview
This role is part of a luxury hospitality group known for energetic, design-led guest experiences and high service standards. The position sits within the housekeeping team and is focused on creating immaculate rooms and public areas while supporting a memorable stay for guests.
What the Role Involves
- Carry out cleaning work carefully and consistently in line with the property’s procedures and service standards for guest rooms, suites, and common areas.
- Prepare rooms to a polished standard by making beds, replacing linen, vacuuming, dusting, and thoroughly cleaning bathrooms.
- Restock guest amenities, toiletries, and other supplies so rooms are fully prepared for occupancy.
- Spot repair, damage, or maintenance concerns in rooms and report them quickly to the relevant team.
- Maintain the company’s grooming and dress standards at all times.
- Respond politely and promptly to guest requests for additional items or services.
- Follow lost-and-found procedures and report any items left by guests to the appropriate department.
- Take part in training and team meetings to stay updated on cleaning methods and service standards.
- Follow health and safety rules to protect guests, colleagues, and yourself.
Candidate Profile
The ideal person is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy environment. Strong communication, organisation, and leadership traits are valued, along with a positive attitude and the ability to take ownership of tasks. A guest-focused mindset and an approachable manner are important for working smoothly with team members and stakeholders.
Experience and Skills
Experience in a similar housekeeping role is preferred, and prior pre-opening exposure in a luxury hotel environment is an advantage. Background in Forbes-rated or LQA-rated properties is also beneficial. The role requires good verbal and written English, with additional languages considered a plus. Candidates should also be physically fit, able to lift heavy items, stand for long periods, manage multiple tasks, and work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
Compensation
The position includes a fixed monthly salary of AED 1,000.
