- Handle guest belongings with care and respect at all times.
- Maintain equipment responsibly.
- Arrive on time, follow the posted schedule, keep accurate time records, and follow proper room issuance procedures.
- Stay attentive, polite, and helpful to guests and coworkers.
- Carry out other related tasks assigned by the Inspector, Supervisor, or Manager.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.
- Friendly, neat, and pleasant personal presentation.
- Good time-management ability.
- Comfortable working on foot for long periods.
- Ability to communicate clearly.
- Can read room numbers, dates, and simple instructions.
- Able to move around spaces, reach corners and high areas, and maneuver carts weighing up to 100 lbs in tight spaces.
- Capable of operating housekeeping tools and equipment such as spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters.
- Can lift, carry, and position at least 25 lbs.
- Must be able to raise the corners or sides of heavy mattresses when changing linens.
