About the Property
Mantra Sierra Grand sits in Broadbeach, within easy walking distance of the light rail. The property features one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, plus a three-bedroom penthouse. Guests also have access to a fully equipped gym, an in-house theatre, a tennis court, and seasonally heated swimming pools, along with a sauna and steam room. Pacific Fair Shopping Centre is close by for shopping and dining, and the nearby beach offers an ideal place to unwind or enjoy beach activities on time off.
Role Purpose
As a Room Attendant, you are an important part of the Housekeeping team. Your work keeps guest rooms spotless, with close attention to the smallest details. The role also involves working smoothly with colleagues and assisting guests when needed. Through your care and consistency, you help create a memorable stay and a strong sense of hospitality for every guest.
Primary Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms thoroughly, including changing bed linen, sanitising bathrooms, and wiping all surfaces to create a strong first impression.
- Follow the established cleaning standards and procedures to deliver consistently high-quality results.
- Replenish and organise housekeeping trolleys so they remain well-stocked and orderly.
- Handle cleaning products safely and follow all required safety practices to maintain a secure work environment.
- Protect guest privacy and security at all times while respecting their comfort.
- Escalate maintenance concerns quickly to support a smooth and trouble-free guest experience.
Skills and Experience
- Experience working as a cleaner or room attendant is preferred.
- Clear, friendly communication style that helps guests and team members feel comfortable.
- Strong attention to detail, good time management, and a pride in doing work well.
- Comfort with a physically active role that may involve internal stairs, external stairs, and open walkways between rooms.
- Enjoys working collaboratively with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Must have reliable transport and be available for varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
