About the Role
Join a housekeeping team at Mantra Sirocco and Zanzibar on Mooloolaba Esplanade, where coastal luxury and polished guest experiences come together. The properties feature two- and three-bedroom apartments, penthouses with large balconies, ocean views, a seasonally heated pool and spa, a sundeck, BBQ area, and gym. The work is varied, and no two shifts are quite the same.
On your days away from work, the Sunshine Coast offers plenty to enjoy, from surfing, abseiling, and rock climbing to visiting Australia Zoo, browsing local markets, or spending time on the beach.
What You’ll Do
- Clean guest rooms thoroughly, including changing linens, sanitising bathrooms, and wiping all surfaces to create an excellent first impression.
- Follow the property’s housekeeping standards carefully and consistently.
- Keep housekeeping trolleys tidy, stocked, and ready for use.
- Handle cleaning products safely and follow all workplace safety procedures.
- Protect guest privacy and security at all times.
- Raise maintenance concerns quickly so room quality stays high.
Experience and Skills
- Prior work as a cleaner or room attendant is an advantage.
- Strong communication style with a friendly, guest-focused manner.
- Good attention to detail, efficient work habits, and strong time management.
- Comfortable with physically active work, including moving between rooms via internal and external staircases and open walkways.
- Enjoys working collaboratively with people from different backgrounds.
- Must have reliable transport and be available for rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
