Retail Store Supervisor

About the Role

This position is for an experienced retail professional to oversee day-to-day store activity, guide the sales team, and help the business deliver strong commercial results. The role is based on-site at multiple locations across Germany and suits someone with a background in retail sales, shop supervision, customer service, team leadership, and store operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop operations and keep the store running efficiently.
• Direct, coach, and encourage the retail sales team.
• Work toward sales growth and meet monthly as well as yearly targets.
• Provide high-quality customer service and handle customer concerns in a professional manner.
• Keep track of stock levels, product presentation, pricing, and visual merchandising standards.
• Maintain store cleanliness, standards, and overall brand presentation.
• Handle cash processes, POS usage, reporting, and routine administrative tasks.
• Review key performance indicators and take corrective action to improve results.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and staff scheduling when needed.
• Ensure adherence to company rules, safety expectations, and retail procedures.

Candidate Profile

The employer is seeking someone with proven experience in retail sales, shop supervision, or store management, along with strong leadership and people management abilities. A sound understanding of retail KPIs, sales goals, and service standards is important, as is practical experience with POS systems, inventory handling, and basic reporting. The role also calls for strong communication, problem-solving skills, and a hands-on approach suited to a busy retail environment.

Language and Work Requirements

• German fluency is highly preferred.
• English language ability is considered an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual gross salary of €45,000 to €65,000, depending on experience, location, and qualifications.
