Role Overview
The Retail Picker role involves accurately picking orders, stock handling, and ensuring orders meet customer specifications. Tasks include printing orders and stock sheets, managing stock rotation, maintaining stock control, engaging with internal customers, and preparing for audits and visits. The role also encompasses general warehouse duties.
Work Schedule and Location
This position primarily operates on day shifts with a night shift approximately once every three weeks. The day shift runs from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and the night shift from about 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM. Workdays are Monday through Thursday plus Saturday. The site is located in an area with limited public transport access, so reliable private transportation is highly recommended.
Candidate Requirements
- Basic computer literacy is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Experience operating a forklift is advantageous but not mandatory as training is available.
- Experience with power pallet trucks is desirable but not essential with training offered.
