Role overview
The Retail Marketing Coordinator will support Nintendo's retail marketing efforts across major retail accounts, helping shape and execute programs that build awareness and drive sales for consoles, games, and accessories. The role works closely with retailers and internal partners to deliver initiatives such as in-store signage, digital promotions, events, and other retail marketing activities. It is suited to a well-organized, proactive marketer who wants broad exposure and the chance to help create standout experiences for Nintendo fans.
Key duties
- Assist with retail marketing initiatives tied to hardware and software launches.
- Coordinate the creation of artwork and manage required internal and external approvals.
- Work with internal teams and outside vendors on project timelines, status updates, and scheduling.
- Support cross-channel merchandising and Point of Purchase projects, including budget tracking and forecasting.
- Gather creative guidance and feedback and share it with internal and external design partners.
- Provide administrative backup support for the department as needed.
Requirements
- At least 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience coordinating projects and keeping multiple workstreams organized.
- Familiarity with Nintendo products or the video game industry is an advantage.
- Formal education or training in marketing practices is preferred, or equivalent experience.
Eligibility and location
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position. The role is based in Redmond, WA and follows a hybrid arrangement, which requires regular onsite work according to the team’s schedule and guidelines. Fully remote work is not available for this position.
Compensation and benefits
The base pay range for this role is USD 29.81 to 47.69 per hour. In addition, the position may qualify for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus and includes a comprehensive benefits package with medical, dental, vision, a 401(k), and paid time off.
