Role Overview
This contract role is focused on in-store customer engagement, product support, sales assistance, and maintaining a polished retail environment. The position requires strong customer interaction skills, attention to detail, and the ability to help deliver a positive experience for guests and shoppers.
Key Duties
- Welcome guests, assist them with questions, provide product information, and help resolve customer concerns.
- Demonstrate products and support customers in finding items that fit their needs, including recommending complementary merchandise.
- Handle point-of-sale transactions accurately and without delay.
- Serve as a greeter by receiving customers at entry and exit points and directing them to the right support when needed.
- Replenish sales-floor inventory and carry out back-of-house tasks such as tagging products, stocking, and keeping items organized.
- Maintain a tidy, attractive store through daily cleaning tasks and upkeep of displays according to the store checklist.
- Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and product counting routines.
- Communicate effectively with teammates, contribute ideas for improvement, and help maintain a positive work atmosphere.
- Assist with special product events, including managing queues, running demonstrations, and processing sales.
- Occasionally represent Nintendo at external consumer events.
- Coordinate with coworkers and shipping/receiving teams to keep the stockroom organized and efficient.
- Create, revise, and maintain process and training documentation for the department.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of relevant retail experience.
- Prior experience in retail, ideally in a busy or flagship store setting.
- Willingness and ability to build product and game knowledge.
- Capability to carry out basic display repairs and maintenance.
- Experience with cash handling and inventory control.
- High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
- Valid driver’s license and insurance.

This is a contract role with a base pay range of USD 20 to 29.84 per hour. The position is eligible for benefits through the employing agency, which may include medical insurance, an employee assistance program, and paid sick leave. Benefit availability depends on elections, eligibility rules, and plan terms, and final offerings will be confirmed by the employing agency at the time of offer.
