Role Overview
As a Renewals Account Manager, your key responsibility involves managing and maximizing the renewal revenue from Cloudflare's major Enterprise clients. This requires cultivating strong C-level relationships and effectively communicating return on investment to the relevant stakeholders. Collaborating closely with the account team, you will combine technical insights and business acumen to recommend solutions that deliver value.
Key Duties
- Own the renewal process commercially, providing accurate weekly forecasts.
- Maintain ongoing customer engagement from onboarding through the entire lifecycle.
- Negotiate and finalize renewal contracts aligned with customer goals.
- Prioritize tasks to handle multiple deals simultaneously.
- Analyze data and utilize tools to uncover opportunities and demonstrate business value.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to align forecasting, planning, and targets.
- Participate actively in customer meetings such as Business Value Discussions, Reviews, and Renewal Meetings.
- Build and sustain long-term stakeholder relationships within your portfolio.
- Travel commitment of approximately 25%.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 3 years experience in Inside or Field Sales or Renewal Management roles.
- Minimum 2 years relevant industry experience.
- Proficient in SaaS retention strategies and sales processes.
- Experience engaging with senior and C-level client stakeholders.
- Strong skills in value-driven selling and problem solving with creative resolution capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently and professionally.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, capable of presenting to diverse audiences.
- Proven negotiation skills with the aptitude to handle objections and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Compensation and Incentives
- For hires based in Portugal, the expected annual salary ranges from €53,000 to €73,000, inclusive of incentives under Cloudflare's Sales Compensation Plan.
- This position is eligible for participation in Cloudflare’s equity program.
