We seek a freelance video editor specializing in music-centered vlogs and short social media videos to join a vibrant creative team. This remote, part-time position is perfect for someone passionate about storytelling through dynamic and cinematic edits, with scope to evolve into full-time as content demands grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and assemble tour-related vlogs, behind-the-scenes footage, and live music performance videos.
- Create captivating short-form videos tailored for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
- Design visually striking thumbnails; incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, and smooth transitions.
- Execute color grading and sound design to elevate video aesthetics and narrative impact.
- Keep up with and adapt to evolving social media trends to optimize content engagement.
- Collaborate effectively with the creative team to ensure a unified visual style throughout all video content.
Qualifications & Skills
- Demonstrated experience in crafting cinematic, story-driven content for YouTube or other social platforms.
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and similar video editing tools.
- Strong storytelling abilities combined with excellent pacing and visual composition skills.
- Knowledge in music editing, sound design, and motion graphics integration.
- Capability to produce compelling thumbnails and perform sophisticated color correction.
- Awareness of the latest social media trends and technical requirements for video content.
