Podcast Editor – Remote (Junior Role)

Role Overview

This opportunity is tailored for a meticulous podcast editor who is passionate about audio storytelling and production. The role involves editing episodes centered on millennial life, discussing themes like dating, family, careers, and health. Each episode spans about 40 to 60 minutes and includes footage from one to three camera perspectives. Fully remote, this position offers flexibility while allowing you to bring creative input to a podcast that appeals to a diverse listener base. Your skills will enhance episode quality and enable the host to focus on content and audience interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit both audio and video podcast episodes using DaVinci Resolve to ensure seamless flow and high-quality sound.
• Perform fundamental color grading to video clips to create a polished and uniform visual appearance.
• Handle various camera angles and synchronize audio with video as required.
• Deliver finalized episodes in specified formats within set deadlines.
• Work closely with the host to integrate feedback while preserving the podcast’s unique tone and style.

Requirements

• Skilled in DaVinci Resolve for comprehensive audio and video editing.
• Prior experience editing podcasts or comparable long-duration media.
