Role overview

We are looking for a Remote Support Information Entry Specialist to help keep business information accurate, organized, and up to date. This position focuses on entering, maintaining, and improving data quality across internal systems so teams can rely on clean and consistent records for daily operations and decision-making.

The role suits someone who is detail-focused, dependable, and comfortable working independently from a remote setting. In addition to core entry work, the position includes coordination, quality checks, documentation support, and process improvement tasks.

Core duties

  • Handle data entry work along with related support tasks beyond basic input.
  • Collect information from different stakeholders and keep it moving through the workflow.
  • Decide what should be processed first based on urgency and business priorities.
  • Track data quality measures and flag patterns or changes that need attention.
  • Help onboard and guide new team members on data entry standards.
  • Help document procedures, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Look for ways to improve efficiency through automation.
  • Act as a link between the data entry function and the teams requesting information.
  • Investigate and resolve unclear, conflicting, or missing data by researching and consulting others.
  • Maintain version control for important datasets and ensure backup processes are completed properly.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in data entry or administrative work.
  • Strong organization and multitasking ability.
  • Some exposure to project coordination.
  • Good numerical accuracy and comfort working with numbers.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software tools and platforms.

Remote work setup

This is a fully remote role and requires a workspace that supports focused work without distractions, reliable availability during agreed working hours, and prompt communication through email and messaging tools. Team video meetings are part of the role, and self-management is important since there is no direct physical supervision.

Guidance on effective remote working habits and ergonomic home office setup will be provided.
