About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Recruitment Coordinator to facilitate the hiring process by attracting talent, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and managing hiring documentation. The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of HR practices and a creative approach to recruitment challenges. Exceptional communication skills and confidence in headhunting are essential, along with a history of delivering projects promptly.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies
- Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and job requirements
- Create and publish job advertisements on various platforms including job portals, newspapers, and university boards
- Utilize databases and social media channels for candidate sourcing
- Screen and evaluate resumes and cover letters effectively
- Implement recruitment assessment tools such as tests and assignments to evaluate candidate skills
- Conduct interviews via telephone, Skype, or face-to-face
- Provide hiring managers with a shortlisted selection of qualified candidates
- Assist hiring teams with interviewing techniques and question formulation
- Contact new hires and organize onboarding programs
- Handle all new hire paperwork ensuring full compliance with legal requirements
- Maintain accurate records of interviews and recruitment activities
- Stay informed about the latest recruitment trends and best practices
Qualifications and Requirements
- Demonstrable experience as a Recruiting Coordinator or Recruiter
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- In-depth knowledge of HR policies and recruitment best practices
- Experience with various interviewing techniques and selection processes, including phone interviews and reference checks
- Proficiency in conducting structured, competency-based, and behavioral interviews
- Familiar with HR software such as databases, applicant tracking systems, and candidate management tools
- Experienced in administering psychometric tests and assessment tools
- Proficient in using social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, for recruiting
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, or related field
