Role overview

This contract recruiting assignment supports Microsoft’s talent acquisition and sourcing function. The work is delivered through an external staffing partner, Allegis Global Solutions (AGS), and anyone selected will be employed by AGS rather than Microsoft. The position focuses on helping hiring teams move quickly while maintaining strong candidate experience and high-quality hiring outcomes across different groups within Microsoft’s global recruiting organization.

What you will do

• Support recruiting and talent sourcing activities across multiple teams as needed.
• Work through the full recruiting cycle in a large, complex organization.
• Move searches forward quickly while protecting quality and candidate experience.
• Build sourcing approaches based on market knowledge and candidate profiles to meet hiring targets and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with compliance requirements.
• Follow the correct communication and engagement process when interacting with candidates.
• Adjust smoothly when processes or priorities change.

What the role calls for

• At least 3 years of experience in talent acquisition, ideally with a sourcing focus, or relevant HR/industry experience.
• A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Liberal Arts, or a related discipline is also acceptable.
• Experience sourcing candidates for a large technology company.
• Ability to understand talent markets and candidate profiles and turn that into an effective hiring plan under tight timelines.
• Strong attention to detail and careful documentation habits.
• Familiarity with tracking systems.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office tools.
• Clear communication skills and experience coordinating among multiple stakeholders.

Additional details

This is a remote role. The assignment can run for up to 18 months, with budget and performance reviewed every quarter. Compensation is expected to be between $33 and $45 per hour, depending on location and experience.
