Job description

Role overview

This contract recruiting role supports a partner organization operating in the data center and digital infrastructure space in the United States. The position centers on fast-moving, high-volume hiring for technical and operational functions that keep large-scale data center sites running effectively.

You will own the recruitment process from initial intake through sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding coordination. The role calls for close collaboration with hiring managers and operations leaders to fill roles quickly while preserving a strong candidate journey. It is well suited to someone who thrives in a technical, collaborative, and execution-focused environment where hiring demand can rise sharply during expansion and new site launches.

Key responsibilities

  • Run full-cycle recruiting for a large volume of technical and operational data center positions, covering intake, sourcing, selection, offer management, and onboarding handoff.
  • Work with hiring managers and operations stakeholders to clarify role profiles, determine hiring priorities, and align on workforce needs.
  • Identify, screen, and assess candidates for technical openings such as technicians, engineers, and leadership-level roles.
  • Create and apply focused sourcing plans using job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and relevant industry networks.
  • Arrange interviews, keep candidates informed, and drive timely feedback to keep the process moving.
  • Keep applicant tracking system records accurate and up to date, including tools such as Lever.
  • Assist with rapid hiring needs tied to new site launches, expansions, and broader scaling efforts.
  • Balance speed, compliance, and volume while delivering a positive experience for candidates.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in end-to-end recruiting, preferably in high-volume or technical hiring settings.
  • Direct experience recruiting for data center positions such as technicians, engineers, managers, or comparable technical roles.
  • Solid understanding of how data center operations work, including shift structures and technical staffing needs.
  • Ability to handle several requisitions at once in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on experience with ATS platforms and sourcing tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Comfort building effective relationships with both hiring managers and candidates.
  • Flexibility to respond to changing priorities and hiring spikes in a dynamic business setting.
  • Experience in agency recruiting or other contract recruiting work is considered an advantage.

Compensation and benefits

  • Hourly pay of $35 to $40.
  • Opportunity to support major data center expansion and hiring initiatives.
  • Exposure to high-growth infrastructure and digital operations environments.
  • Contract engagement with flexibility, starting as a 3-month term and possibly extending or converting.
  • Chance to work across technical, leadership, and operational talent pipelines.
  • Collaborative recruiting environment with strong cross-functional partnership.
  • Involvement in large-scale, high-impact hiring projects.
