Its main humanoid robot, Apollo, is intended for collaborative use in industries such as manufacturing and logistics today, with potential use in healthcare, homes, and other areas in the future.

This role supports the effort to bring Apollo to market at scale while helping solve complex issues around safety, commercialization, and large-scale production.
Job summary
Apptronik is looking for a driven on-site Contract Recruiter for a minimum of 6 months to help fill hiring needs across Corporate, Operations, and Go-to-Market teams. The role focuses on sourcing, screening, and coordinating hiring for positions in Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and People Operations, with room to assist technical engineering recruiting when needed. The right candidate will have strong full-cycle recruiting experience in a fast-growing environment, solid business understanding, and the ability to move smoothly between different functional areas.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with leaders and hiring managers across GTM, Operations, and Corporate functions to understand business needs and build focused hiring plans.
- Identify and attract candidates through multiple sourcing channels, including professional networks, recruiter tools, and proactive outreach in communities such as Sales, Logistics, and Finance.
- Review resumes and conduct early-stage interviews to assess functional expertise, culture fit, and relevant industry background.
- Support technical hiring pipelines in areas like Hardware, Software, and R&D during busy periods by helping with sourcing and initial candidate evaluation.
- Own candidate pipeline management and serve as the main contact for applicants, ensuring a responsive and polished candidate experience.
- Maintain accurate data and compliance records in the applicant tracking system, Greenhouse.
- Share regular recruiting updates with hiring managers and the People team, including pipeline status, hiring activity, and market insights for competitive talent.
- Help negotiate offers and coordinate pre-employment steps for non-technical and business-focused roles.
- Stay informed on trends in tech and hardware recruiting, including GTM hiring benchmarks and operational best practices.
Requirements
- Successful background hiring across business functions such as Sales, Marketing, Operations, or Finance in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong commercial judgment and the ability to connect department goals to the company’s broader hardware and product direction.
- Proven experience building trusted relationships with executive leaders and cross-functional hiring managers.
- Hands-on ability and enthusiasm for sourcing and building pipelines for specialized or competitive business roles.
- Comfortable adapting quickly between different hiring needs, from marketing to manufacturing or technical roles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems such as Greenhouse, Lever, or Ashby.
- Alignment with the company values of Curiosity, Humility, Integrity, Passion, and Creativity (CHIPC).
- At least 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including 2+ years focused on GTM, Operations, or Corporate functions in a technology or hardware company.
- Experience working in a startup or high-growth setting where priorities and responsibilities shift across teams.
- History of successfully closing senior individual contributor and leadership roles in non-technical business areas.
Additional information
Work setup: This is an on-site contract position based in Austin, Texas.
Contract length: Minimum commitment of 6 months.
Physical requirements: The job involves extended periods of sitting and computer work, occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds, and the ability to read printed materials and computer screens. The role also requires hearing and speech for communication.
