Role overview
A local facility in Maryville, Tennessee is looking for a Junior Recruiter to support end-to-end hiring activities. The role focuses on coordinating recruitment efforts, partnering with leaders, and helping build a strong talent pipeline for the brand.
Key responsibilities
- Run the recruiting process from start to finish, including sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, and conducting interviews by phone, virtually, or face to face.
- Lead intake discussions, identify the best hiring approach, align expectations, and take part in debrief and consensus meetings with hiring managers.
- Work closely with hiring managers to help fill roles quickly and effectively.
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines by representing the brand at engagement events with high schools, community colleges, technical and trade schools, and universities.
- Help increase awareness of the company and open roles across the surrounding region.
- Support employee engagement programs, training and development efforts, and other tasks as assigned.
- Partner with the Talent Manager to advise hiring managers on evaluating and assessing candidates.
Requirements
- An associate degree or bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related area is required.
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience handling full-cycle recruiting is required.
- Background in recruiting for Engineering, Manufacturing, Assembly, or Distribution environments is preferred.
- Experience hiring across a broad mix of entry-level to mid-level positions is required.
- Recruiting support across multiple states or locations is preferred.
- Prior use of applicant tracking systems, especially ADP RM, is preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills are required, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams.
- The job may involve occasional lifting of 20 to 30 pounds.

This is a Monday to Friday day-shift position.
