The organization emphasizes innovation, inclusion, meaningful work, and employee growth, with a mission centered on improving outcomes and building healthier futures for the communities it serves.

Role Overview

The Recruiter will lead talent acquisition efforts for leaders and team members by using a variety of sourcing channels, representing the employer brand in the market, and supporting candidates and hiring managers throughout the hiring process. This role covers the full recruiting cycle and requires strong organization, business awareness, creativity, and relationship-building skills. Some travel is part of the position.

The posted annual salary for this role is $57,000.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the organization at career fairs, conventions, and educational programs such as college and technical school events to support current and future hiring needs.

  • Keep applicants updated on where they stand in the hiring process and maintain timely communication throughout.

  • Build productive partnerships with leaders, vendors, community groups, and internal colleagues to strengthen recruitment outreach and brand visibility.
  • Develop and sustain a strong sourcing network using approved methods to identify qualified talent.
  • Use online recruiting tools and existing applicant pools to find and engage strong candidates.
  • Create relationships with colleges and professional associations to build a reliable talent pipeline.
  • Share accurate, engaging, and complete information with candidates about the organization and open roles.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings and collaborate with hiring managers on screening questions.
  • Coordinate all candidate communication and scheduling.
  • Prepare candidates for interviews by explaining the organization, business direction, department context, role expectations, and interview process.
  • Lead and document post-interview debriefs and feedback sessions.
  • Complete reference checks and review the findings with hiring managers.
  • Present employment offers under the hiring manager's direction and help ensure a smooth onboarding transition with HR.
  • Administer the employee referral program through employee engagement and coordination.

Additional Requirements and Working Expectations

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills are essential.
  • Deep knowledge of full-cycle recruiting is expected, including sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessment, legal compliance, job analysis, compensation trends, and relationship management.
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities while remaining flexible and adaptable.
  • Experience with a server-based applicant tracking system is required.
  • Comfort presenting recruiting ideas and consulting with hiring managers on new approaches.
  • Proven ability to recruit across a wide range of positions.

  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
