We are collaborating with a reputable private company known for decades of success, outstanding customer care, and a culture that prioritizes employees. This role offers a chance to be part of a stable organization where employees are appreciated, leadership remains accessible, and career growth is promoted long-term.

Role Summary

The Recruiter will act as a trusted partner to organizational leaders, identifying hiring needs, crafting strategic sourcing plans, and guaranteeing an excellent candidate experience. This position suits a proactive talent acquisition specialist who thrives in a dynamic setting, forms strong relationships with hiring managers, and independently manages end-to-end recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruiting process—from initial consultation and sourcing tactics through interviews, candidate selection, and job offer facilitation.
  • Source and engage candidates with relevant backgrounds using diverse channels such as online platforms, referrals, networking, community outreach, and direct contacts.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with educational institutions, workforce agencies, community organizations, and other partners to broaden the talent pool.
  • Ensure candidates receive timely, transparent updates throughout the recruitment stages regardless of outcome.
  • Organize recruitment activities efficiently within HRIS and applicant tracking systems to maintain accurate, current information.
  • Maintain detailed records of candidates, interview feedback, status updates, and documentation to ensure compliance and reporting accuracy.
  • Build pipelines for high-volume and repetitive roles while forecasting staffing needs across the company.
  • Collaborate with marketing and internal teams to showcase the company's culture, career opportunities, and employer brand externally.
  • Create well-defined job descriptions and structured interview tools that foster fair, consistent candidate assessments.
  • Monitor hiring trends, employment markets, and compensation data to inform recruitment strategies and salary recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum two years of recruiting experience, including full-cycle ownership.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office and comparable business tools; familiarity with UKG Ready or recruiting certifications is advantageous.
  • Preferred experience recruiting for high-volume operational, skilled trades, transportation, manufacturing, or specialized roles.
  • Proven track record managing recruiting independently or serving as the principal recruiter for a team or division.
  • Ability to build strong hiring manager partnerships and positively influence recruitment decisions through clear communication and market insight.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and maintaining precise recruiting documentation.
  • Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail across multiple concurrent job requisitions.
  • Sound knowledge of employment legislation, recruitment policies, and recordkeeping best practices.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Target salary range between $70,000 and $85,000 per year.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Paid time off and recognized holidays.
