Role overview

As a Real Estate Sales Representative, you will focus on generating listings and closing sales while strengthening client relationships through active market engagement. Your local knowledge, property appraisal ability and understanding of real estate legislation will help you identify client needs and deliver effective service. You will also benefit from the support of a large network designed to help you learn and progress.

Key responsibilities

  • Promote, list and sell properties across the relevant market.
  • Develop strong, ongoing relationships with clients to better understand their present and future requirements.
  • Take part in branch-level business development initiatives.
  • Work toward targets covering sales, listings, appraisals and vendor-paid advertising.
  • Maintain compliance with professional standards and required reporting.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to help customers access innovative opportunities.
  • Support promotional activity such as field days and local community events.

What you need to bring

  • Previous experience in the local real estate industry, along with relevant local connections or influence.
  • Ability to assess properties and recognise the strengths and potential of rural and residential listings.
  • A valid Real Estate licence is required, as well as a current driver’s licence.
  • Good capability in real estate marketing.
  • Working knowledge of real estate legislation.
  • Strong communication, organisation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • A collaborative, enthusiastic and well-organised approach with solid time-management skills.
  • A practical, resourceful and forward-looking mindset, with confidence using technology.
