Its real estate investing arm, MSREI, is the firm’s global private real estate investment business and has been active for more than three decades across value-add, opportunistic, core and core-plus strategies. The Mumbai-based India team is looking for an experienced Analyst to contribute to a broad set of investment and portfolio activities.
What you will do
- Assess and work on real estate investment opportunities across different asset classes and transaction structures.
- Develop, update and review financial models, valuation work and investment analysis.
- Create investment memoranda, presentation materials and market research to support decisions.
- Work with internal groups and outside advisers on market, business, legal, technical and financial due diligence.
- Track current portfolio investments, including operating results, business plans, budgets and exit readiness.
- Maintain strong relationships with portfolio management teams, operating partners and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background, preferably an MBA from a top-tier institution or be a qualified Chartered Accountant, ideally with rank-holder credentials. The role calls for 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, principal investing, real estate, private equity or consulting. Candidates should be comfortable handling complex investment situations and working across multiple priorities with strong accuracy and ownership.
