Job description

Role overview

This position sits within AIA Singapore and focuses on maintaining and improving business systems, operational quality, and reporting support. The role acts as a coordination point between business users, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure system improvements are delivered in line with regulatory needs, business feedback, and internal deadlines.

What you will do

  • Serve as the business and subject matter contact for systems such as IPoS+, Leader Endorsement, Interactive Competency Management (ICM), CRM, and related tools.
  • Convert business and regulatory needs into clear functional specification documents for enhancement work.
  • Partner with internal and external teams to roll out system changes that meet compliance standards and required timelines.
  • Support product-related releases for point-of-sale tools, including Tips and Product Matrix.
  • Take part in user acceptance testing and system setup activities for enhancement initiatives.
  • Keep track of system controls and key checks so the environment remains audit-ready.
  • Assist with one-off projects and ongoing maintenance tasks linked to system improvements.
  • Provide operational support for system issues by logging tickets, sharing required details with technical teams, and helping drive bug fixes.
  • Prepare and retrieve data from extraction exercises for operational needs and audit support.
  • Respond to system-related questions from team members and the agency force.
  • Participate in IT disaster recovery exercises.
  • Record and monitor incidents in IRIS, and follow up to ensure proper resolution by responsible parties.
  • Coordinate service recovery actions with stakeholders when disruptions occur.
  • Support the adoption of AI tools and process improvements across the department.
  • Review current workflows, suggest better ways of working, and help automate tasks wherever possible.

Requirements

  • A diploma or degree is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an IT business analyst role or project management role.
  • Experience in the insurance sector will be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical ability with a creative approach to solving problems.
  • Good communication and writing skills, with the ability to present to different audiences.
